Isn't this bizarre? It's so painful and I can't believe how fast it came on! It hasn't even been 24 hours since it started hurting and it looks like it's dying!! (Not really, but it does have a gruesome look to it!) I'm going to the Naturopath in about an hour so I'll let you know what it turned out to be after that. For now, I need to go lie down, so it can be up.... it feels better that way.
And, wouldn't you know it... it's been raining and so I'm going to have to put on close-toed shoes for Kyla's graduation. Ugh! I hope whatever the remedy is has a profound effect and works fast!!

I don't know WHAT I did, Lisa! I was at the Farmer's Market and it just started hurting, of like I'd torn the nail too close to the edge or something?? But, I hadn't done anything to my toenails! As you know, I've been working in the garden a lot and I'm constantly forgetting to put my gardening shoes on.... so, I invariably end up out there in my sandals. I even wore them to dump a bunch of organic matter at Greenlands...but I don't recall feeling anything poke me. It looks really bad now, but I did just soak it and bunch of stuff oozed out, so that's good. Take some of the swelling down, I hope, and that's gotta feel better! It look hideous!! Doc put me on antibiotics! When a Naturopath puts you on antibiotics, you *know* you need them! He told me if I see a red streak running up my foot, go to the ER. That was comforting. :)
OK... gotta get to sleep... it was not exactly a restful night last night! :)
